Sideboard (Mod°123) from 1968, designed by Florence Knoll for Knoll International - this version was produced by Knoll International in Stuttgart in 1968.
The sliding doors are woven with seaweed, a beautiful, warm detail.
Stitched leather strips as handles. The carcass is made of oiled and finely grained ash wood on the outside, light maple was used on the inside - a fine contrast.
All in all, the sideboard looks very delicate - depth 45cm, a dreamlike piece of design history.
It comes from first ownership - the condition is very beautiful, with a patina that cannot be imitated.
The original Knoll manufacturing label is on the back, blackened round metal feet.
